Founded in 1958, Changzhou Vocational Institute of Engineering (CZIE) is a full-time public institution of higher education in Jiangsu province. The college consists of seven secondary schools as School of Materials and Chemical Engineering, School of Pharmaceutical and Environment Engineering, School of Construction Engineering, School of Construction Decoration and Artistic Design, School of Construction Equipment and Information Technology, School of Electromechanical and Automobile Engineering and School of Economy & Trade and Sports Management.

CZIE offers altogether 55 programs in 10 categories of biochemistry and pharmacy, materials and energy and civil engineering. Currently, we have about 14,000 full-time registered students and a faculty number of over 700.
