Preface
By organizing more Hungarian youth to come to China for exchange, we can enhance the friendship between Hungary and China. Situated in China's thriving Yangtze River Delta region, Changzhou is a vibrant city that seamlessly blends rich history with modern economic vitality. Covering 4,372 square kilometers and home to 5.37 million residents, the city administers five districts, one county-level city, and one economic development zone.

Date 1
The Hungarian student delegation arrived in Changzhou, picked up and arranged for check-in. Hold a welcome banquet and introduce the weekly event schedule
Date 2-4
·Campus tour, visiting libraries, laboratories, and sports facilities
· Participate in Chinese cultural related courses
· Engage in free discussions with Chinese students
Date 5-6
Organize a visit to Changzhou Museum, China Dinosaur Park, Tianmu Lake; visit local interests and experience the city life.
Date 7
Arrange students to learn Taiji, martial arts, to experience Dragon Boat racing exercises to understand the cultural significance and skills behind it.
Participate in Chinese traditional culture experience activities, learn the art of tea
processing, moon-shaped fan making and try Han Chinese clothing dressing.
Date 8
Manufacturing enterprises Tour, enjoys the scenery along the Yangtze River, and understands the impact of the city’s new economic development brand of intelligent manufacturing industry and green energy.
Date 9
Nearby city tour to Yangzhou: China Grand Canal Museum to learn the history and development of the Yangtze River Delta historically and nowadays.
Date 10
Arrange lectures and dicsussions with Chinese teachers and students mahoring in marketing and business, to learn the background and development of China’s modern electronic business.

Participate in the closing ceremony and share a week of experience; learn to make dumplings with Chinese students

Pre-Trip
Preparation
of this program
Hungarian and Chinese students will engage in online collaborative learning to prepare for upcoming visits to universities, colleges, high schools, businesses, and cities.
We will prepare for the following topics:
1. Changzhou development history
2. Why Changzhou can rise rapidly
3. What is Changzhou’s position and development orientation all over China?
During the Trip
Throughout the program, students will engage in several activities, such as:
1. Discuss with professors, teachers and students from universities, institutes and colleges, high schools, in Changzhou
2. Visit enterprises, meet industry experts and business executives
3. City and site view through food, tours, and extracurricular activities to
understand more about Changzhou history, culture and social development
4. Wrap-up seminar to implement comprehensive assessments to ensure students receive the most benefits of the program
5. Record and analyze changes in students' perspectives on universities, colleges, high schools, businesses, and cities before and after their visits
6. Encourage students back to Hungary to regularly share their first-hand
experiences and actively engage with upcoming students from Hungary to increase the awareness of the program

Changzhou have director and indirect operations between Hungary and China. It is worthwhile noting that they are all currently hiring while many Hungarian corporations have stopped new hire or are going through layoffs.

6. Costs
6.1 Student Personal Expenses Covered: This YES program has FULLY funded for in-China expenses, including all activities, meals, and transportation, arrangements within China, with accommodation in 3-star or above hotels.
6.2 Student Personal Expenses NOT Covered:
6.2.1 International Flight Tickets: the most favorable group international flight discounts, estimated to be between $1500 and $2000+.
6.2.2 Program Cost: About $1000, including international travel and insurance, while visa fee is free for 30days entry into China for Hungarians

Citizenship Status: Hungarian citizen or green card holder. We welcome applicants of all ethnicities to apply. Current students area must (Students age from 18 to 25). We look for dedicated, ambitious students who set high goals and have shown impressive leadership skills, as well as have a curiosity surrounding Chinese culture and their intellectual and technological advancements.
